The Letter of James

Ya‘aqob of·God and of·LordYesouChrist servant to·the·ones⁺ twelve to·¬tribes⁺the·ones⁺ in to·the¬dispersion to·be·¬rejoicing.

°all¬joy ꜝ¬govern, brothers⁺ of·me, ¬when to·¬temptations⁺ may·you·¬fall·upon to·¬variouses⁺, 3 knowing that the¬testing of·you⁺ of·thetrust ¬workouts °¬perseverance; 4 the·one then ¬perseverance °work¬perfect ꜝlet·them·be·having, so·that may·you·be·being ¬perfects⁺ and ¬wholes⁺ in to·¬nothing self-¬lacking. 5 if then whatever of·you⁺ ¬lacks·himself of·¬wisdom, ꜝlet·them·be·¬asking ¬from of·thegivingGod to·alls⁺ ¬without·reserve and ńot of·¬reviling, and will·be·given to·him. 6 ꜝlet·them·be·¬asking then in to·trust °¬nothing self-¬judging; ⁼the·one for self-¬judging has·¬resembled to·¬waves of·sea to·been·¬bed·wind-blown and to·been·¬tossed·about. 7 ńot for ꜝlet·them·be·¬supposing thehumanthat that will·take °whatever ¬from of·theLord; 8 man¬double-minded¬restless in to·alls⁺the⁺¬roads⁺ of·him. 9 ꜝlet·them·be·¬boasting then thebrotherthe¬lowly in to·the¬height of·him, 10 the·one then rich in to·the¬lowliness of·him ẜor as ¬flower of·¬grass will·¬pass·by. 11 ¬rised for thesun wiŧh to·the¬heat and ¬dried °the¬grass and the¬flower of·him ¬falled·out and the¬beauty of·the¬face of·it ¬destroyed·himself; thus and therich in to·the⁺¬journeys⁺ of·him will·be·¬faded. 12 blessedmanwhich ¬remains °¬temptation, ẜor ¬testedhaving·been·generated will·take °the¬crown of·thelife °which ¬announced theLord to·the⁺loving °him.

¬nothingbeen·¬tested ꜝlet·them·be·saying that off of·God am·¬tested; the·one for God¬untempted is of·evils⁺, ¬tests then he °no·one; 14 ¬each then is·¬tested ¬by of·the¬one's·own¬desire been·¬dragged·out and been·¬enticed; 15 ¬then the¬desirehaving·¬seized ¬gives·birth·to °¬sin, the·one then ¬sin¬completed ¬generates °death.

ńot ꜝbe·being·¬leaded·astray, brothers⁺ of·me beloveds⁺; 17 all¬giftgood and all¬free·gift¬perfect ¬from·above is ¬coming off of·theFather of·the⁺lights⁺ ¬from to·which not ¬theres·is ¬variation or of·¬turning ¬shadow. 18 ¬planed ¬generated °us to·saying of·¬truth, to °the·one to·be·¬existing °us °¬firstfruitswhatever of·the·ones⁺ of·him of·¬creatures⁺.

ꜝhave·seen, brothers⁺ of·me beloveds⁺; ꜝlet·them·be·being then allhuman¬quick to °the·one to·hear, ¬slow to °the·one to·speak, ¬slow to °¬wrath. 20 ¬wrath for of·man °¬justice of·God not works. 21 ¬therefore having·self-¬putted·aside °all¬filth and °¬excess of·evil in to·¬gentleness ꜝ¬receive °the¬implantedsayingtheable to·¬save °the⁺souls⁺ of·you⁺.

ꜝbe·generated then doers⁺ of·saying and ńot °¬alone ¬hearers⁺¬deceiving °yourselves⁺. 23 ẜor if whatever¬hearer of·saying is and not doer, ⁼this has·¬resembled to·man¬observing °the¬face of·thegenesis of·him in to·¬mirror; 24 ¬observed for °himself and has·come·off and ¬immediately ¬forgetted ¬what·sort? was·being. 25 the·one then having·¬stooped to °¬law¬perfectthe·one of·the¬freedom and having·¬continued, ⁼this not ¬hearer of·¬forgetfulness having·been·generated but doer of·work, thisblessed in to·the·one will·do of·him will·be.

if whatever ¬thinks ¬religious to·be·¬existing in to·you⁺ ńot ¬bridling °tongue of·him but ¬tricking °heart of·him, ⁼this ¬futilethe¬religion. 27¬religion¬clean and ¬pure ¬from to·God and to·Father this is, to·be·¬visitting °¬orphans⁺ and °¬widows⁺ in to·the¬pressure of·them, °¬spotless °himself to·be·¬keeping off of·thecosmos.

brothers⁺ of·me, ńot in to·¬favoritisms⁺ ꜝbe·having °thetrust of·theLord of·us of·YesouChrist of·the¬glory. 2 ifᵮ for may·he·come·to to °the¬synagogue of·you⁺ man¬gold-ringed in to·¬clothing¬shining, may·he·come·to then and ¬poor in to·¬filthy¬clothing

and may·you·¬look·upon then upon °the¬wearing °the¬clothingthe¬shining and may·you·tell to·him; you ꜝbe·¬sitting ¬here beautifully, and to·the¬poor may·you·tell; you ꜝstand there or ꜝbe·¬sitting ¬here ¬by °the¬footstool of·me, 4 and not were·¬judged in to·yourselves⁺ and were·generated ¬judges⁺ of·¬reasonings⁺¬evils⁺?

ꜝhear, brothers⁺ of·me beloveds⁺, not God ¬selected·himself °the⁺¬poors⁺ to·thecosmos of·this °riches⁺ in to·trust and °¬heirs⁺ of·thekingdomwhich ¬announced to·the⁺loving °him? 6 you⁺ then ¬dishonored °the¬poor. not the⁺riches⁺ ¬oppress of·you⁺ and they ¬draw °you⁺ to °¬courts⁺? 7 not they ¬blaspheme °thebeautiful¬namethe¬called upon °you⁺? 8 if ¬yet °¬law ¬finish °kingly ¬according·to °thewriting; will·love °the¬neighbor of·you as °yourself, beautifully do; 9 if then ¬favor, °¬sin work been·¬rebuked ¬by of·the¬law as ¬transgresors⁺. 10 who for °¬allthe¬law may·he·¬keep, may·he·¬stumble then in to·one, has·been·generated of·alls⁺ ¬liable·for. 11the·one for having·told ńot may·you·adulterize, told and ńot may·you·murder. if then not adulterize murder then, have·been·generated ¬transgresor of·¬law. 12 thus ꜝbe·speaking and thus ꜝbe·doing as through of·¬law of·¬freedom ¬ensuing to·be·being·¬judged. 13 the·one for ¬judgment¬merciless to·the·one ńot to·having·done °¬mercy; and ¬boasts ¬mercy of·¬judgment.

whatthe¬gain, brothers⁺ of·me, ifᵮ °trust may·he·be·saying whatever to·be·having, °works⁺ then ńot may·he·be·having? ńot is·able thetrust to·¬save °him? 15 ifᵮ then brother or sister ¬nakeds⁺ may·they·be·¬bing·already and self-¬lacking may·they·be·being of·the¬daily¬food, 16 may·he·tell then whatever to·them out of·you⁺; ꜝbe·¬going in to·peace, ꜝbe·¬warming and ꜝbe·¬feeding·yourselves, ńot may·you·give then to·them °the⁺¬necessaries⁺ of·thebody, whatthe¬gain? 17 thus and thetrust, ifᵮ ńot may·he·be·having °works⁺, corpse is ¬according·to °herself.

but will·¬say whatever; you °trust have, I* and °works⁺ have; ꜝ¬show to·me °thetrust of·you ¬without of·the⁺works⁺ of·you, I* and to·you will·¬show out of·the⁺works⁺ of·me °thetrust of·me. 19 you trust that one is God; beautifully do; and the⁺¬demons⁺ trust and ¬shudder. 20 ¬will then to·know, ¬oh! human¬empty, that thetrust ¬without of·the⁺works⁺ ¬idle is? 21 ¬Abrahamthefather of·us not out of·works⁺ was·¬justified having·¬carried·up °¬Isaactheson of·him upon °the¬altar? 22 look that thetrust was·¬working·with to·the⁺works⁺ of·him and out of·the⁺works⁺ thetrust was·¬perfected? 23 and was·¬fulfilled thewritingthesaying; trusted then ¬Abraham to·God and was·¬counted to·him to °¬justice and ¬friend of·God was·called. 24 ¬see ¬then that out of·works⁺ is·¬justified human and not out of·trust °¬alone.

¬similarly then and ¬Rahabthefornicator not out of·works⁺ was·¬justified having·¬received °the⁺announcers⁺ and to·óther¬road having·¬expelled? 26 ¬just·as for thebody ¬without of·breath corpse is, thus and thetrust ¬without of·the⁺works⁺ corpse is.

ńot many⁺¬teachers⁺ ꜝbe·generated, brothers⁺ of·me, having·seen that °¬great¬judgment will·take. 2 °many⁺ for ¬stumble ¬alls⁺; if whatever in to·saying not ¬stumbles, this¬perfectman, ⁼able to·¬bridle and °¬allthebody.

if then of·the⁺¬horses⁺ °the⁺¬bridles⁺ to °the⁺mouths⁺ ¬throw to °the·one to·be·being·¬persuaded °them to·us, and °¬allthebody of·them ¬turn. 4 ¡see! and the⁺¬boats⁺, ⁼¬so·greats⁺being and ¬by of·¬winds⁺¬hards⁺ been·¬drived, is·¬turned ¬by of·¬least¬rudder ¬where iᵮ the¬impulse of·the¬straightening ¬plans.

thus and thetongue ¬small¬member is and °¬greats⁺ ¬boasts. ¡see! ¬how·great?¬fire °¬how·great?¬forest ¬sets·fire; 6 and thetongue ¬fire, thecosmos of·the¬unrighteousness thus, thetongue is·¬appointed in to·the⁺¬members⁺ of·us the¬staining °¬allthebody and ¬kindling °the¬course of·thegenesis and been·¬kindled ¬by of·the¬hell.

all for physicality of·¬wild·animals⁺ also and of·¬birds⁺, ⁼¬reptiles⁺ also and of·¬marines⁺ is·¬tamed and has·been·¬tamed to·thephysicalitythehuman; 8 °the·one then °tongue no·one to·¬tame is·able of·humans⁺; ¬restlessevil, ¬full of·¬poison¬deadly. 9 in to·her ¬praise °theLord and °Father and in to·her ¬curse °the⁺humans⁺the·ones⁺ ¬according·to °¬likeness of·God °having·been·generated; 10 out of·the of·itmouth comes·out ¬praise and ¬curse. not ¬oughts, brothers⁺ of·me, these⁺ thus to·be·generated. 11 ńot·whatever the¬flow out of·the of·her¬hole ¬pours °the¬sweet and °the¬bitter? 12 ńot is·able, brothers⁺ of·me, ¬fig·tree °¬olive·trees⁺ to·do or ¬vine °¬figs⁺? thus not·also ¬flow ¬salty and °¬sweet to·do °¬water.

what¬wise and ¬knowing in to·you⁺? ꜝlet·them·¬show out of·thebeautiful¬behaviour °the⁺works⁺ of·him in to·¬gentleness of·¬wisdom. 14 if then °¬zeal¬bitter have and °¬rivalry in to·theheart of·you⁺, ńot ꜝbe·¬boasting and ꜝbe·lying ¬according·to of·the¬truth. 15 not is thisthe¬wisdom ¬from·above ¬descending, but earthlysoulish¬demonic. 16 ¬where for ¬zeal and ¬rivalry, there ¬disorder and all¬evil¬thing.

the·one then ¬from·above ¬wisdom °first ¬on·the·other·hand ¬pure is, ¬then peaceful, ⁼¬gentle, ⁼¬compliant, ⁼¬full of·¬mercy and of·fruits⁺good⁺, ¬impartial, and ¬genuine. 18 fruit then of·the¬justice in to·peace is·¬sowed to·the⁺doing °peace.

¬whence ¬wars⁺ and ¬whence ¬quarrels⁺ in to·you⁺? not ¬from·here, out of·the⁺¬pleasures⁺ of·you⁺ of·the⁺self-¬battling in to·the⁺¬members⁺ of·you⁺? 2 ¬long·for and not have; murder and ¬be·eager and not are·able to·¬obtain; ¬quarrel and ¬fight; not have then through °the·one ńot to·be·self-¬asking °you⁺; 3 ¬ask and not take, ¬because evil ¬ask·yourselves, so·that in to·the⁺¬pleasures⁺ of·you⁺ may·you·¬spend. 4 adulterers⁺ and adulterers⁺, not have·seen that the¬friendship of·thecosmos ¬hostility of·God is? which ifᵮ therefore may·he·be¬planed ¬friend to·be·¬existing of·thecosmos, ¬enemy of·God is·¬appointed. 5 or ¬think that ¬vainly thewriting says? unto °¬envy ¬longs·for °thebreathwhich ¬settled in to·us, 6 °¬great then gives °¬grace·(charism); ¬therefore says; God to·¬arrogants⁺ ¬resists·himself, to·¬lowlies⁺ then gives °¬grace·(charism).

ꜝbe·¬subjected therefore to·God. ꜝ¬oppose then to·the¬devilish and will·¬flee off of·you⁺, 8 ꜝ¬come·near to·God and will·¬come·near to·you⁺. ꜝ¬clean °hands⁺, ¬sinfuls⁺, and ꜝ¬purify °hearts⁺, ¬double-mindeds⁺. 9 ꜝ¬grieve and ꜝ¬mourn and ꜝ¬weep; the¬laughter of·you⁺ to °¬grief ꜝlet·them·be·¬turned·around and the¬joy to °¬gloominess. 10 ꜝbe·¬humbled ¬before of·theLord and will·¬lift·up °you⁺.

ńot ꜝbe·¬slandering of·one·another⁺, brothers⁺; the¬slandering of·brother or ¬judging °thebrother of·him ¬slanders of·¬law and ¬judges °¬law; if then °¬law ¬judge, not are doer of·¬law but ¬judge. 12one is the¬lawgiver and ¬judgetheable to·¬save and to·¬destroy; you then what are the¬judging °the¬neighbor?

ꜝbe·¬bringing ¬now the⁺saying; ¬today or ¬tomorrow will·¬travel to °¬thisthecity and will·do there °¬yearone and will·¬traffic·in and will·¬gain; 14 whos⁺ not ¬know °the·one of·the·one ¬tomorrow ¬what? for thelife of·you⁺. ¬vapor for are the·one unto °¬little ¬shining ¬then then and been·¬destroyed; 15 anti of·the·one to·be·saying °you⁺; ifᵮ theLord may·he·¬will and will·live and will·do °this or °that. 16 ¬now then ¬boast in to·the⁺¬boastings⁺ of·you⁺; all¬pride¬such·as·this¬evil is. 17 to·having·seen therefore °beautiful to·be·doing and ńot to·doing, ¬sin to·him is.

ꜝbe·¬bringing ¬now the⁺riches⁺, ꜝ¬weep ¬wailing upon to·the⁺¬miseries⁺ of·you⁺ to·the⁺¬arriving. 2 theriches of·you⁺ has·¬rotted and the⁺¬clothings⁺ of·you⁺ ¬moth-eatens⁺ has·been·generated; 3 thegold of·you⁺ and thesilver has·been·¬corroded and the¬poison of·them to °¬testimony to·you⁺ will·be and will·¬eat·himself °the⁺fleshes⁺ of·you⁺ as ¬fire; treasured in to·¬lasts⁺days⁺. 4 ¡see! the¬wage of·the⁺workers⁺the⁺having·¬mowed °the⁺¬countries⁺ of·you⁺ thehaving·been·¬defrauded off of·you⁺ ¬cries and the⁺¬outcries⁺ of·the⁺having·¬reaped to °the⁺¬ears⁺ of·Lord of·¬hostses⁺ have·come·to. 5 ¬self-indulged upon of·theearth and ¬indulged, ¬feeded °the⁺hearts⁺ of·you⁺ as in to·day of·¬slaughter. 6 ¬condemned, murdered °the¬just; not ¬resists·himself to·you⁺.

ꜝ¬have·patience therefore, brothers⁺, ¬until of·the¬coming of·theLord. ¡see! the¬farmer ¬waits·for °the¬preciousfruit of·theearth ¬having·patience upon to·him ¬until iᵮ may·he·take °¬rain¬early·rain and °¬late·rain; 8 ꜝ¬have·patience and you⁺, ꜝ¬establish °the⁺hearts⁺ of·you⁺, ẜor the¬coming of·theLord has·¬comed·near. 9 ńot ꜝbe·¬groaning, brothers⁺, ¬according·to of·one·another⁺, so·that ńot may·you·be¬judged; ¡see! the¬judge ¬before of·the⁺¬doors⁺ has·stood. 10 °¬example ꜝtake, brothers⁺ of·me, of·the¬suffering and of·the¬patience °the⁺¬prophets⁺ which⁺ spoke in to·the¬name of·Lord. 11 ¡see! bless °the⁺having·¬remained; °the¬perseverance of·¬Job heard and °the¬goal of·Lord saw, that ¬very·compassionate is theLord and ¬compassionate.

¬before of·alls⁺ then, brothers⁺ of·me, ńot ꜝbe·¬swearing, ńot·also °theheaven ńot·also °theearth ńot·also °otherwhatever¬oath; ꜝlet·them·be·being then of·you⁺ the·one ¬yes ¬yes and the·one not not, so·that ńot ¬by °¬judgment may·you·¬collapse.

¬endures whatever in to·you⁺? ꜝlet·them·be·¬praying; ¬bes·cheerful whatever? ꜝlet·them·be·¬singing·praise. 14 ¬bes·weak whatever in to·you⁺? ꜝlet·them·¬call·to °the⁺¬elders⁺ of·the¬assembly·(ecclesia) and ꜝlet·¬pray upon °him having·¬anointed °him to·¬olive·oil in to·the¬name of·theLord. 15 and the¬vow of·thetrust will·¬save °the¬bing·weary and will·¬arise °him theLord; and ifᵮ °¬sins⁺ may·he·be·being having·done, will·be·¬released to·him.

ꜝbe·¬agreing·yourselves therefore to·one·another⁺ °the⁺¬sins⁺ and ꜝbe·¬praying ¬above of·one·another⁺, ¬that may·you·be¬healed; °much ¬bes·strong ¬petition of·¬just self-¬bing·active. 17 ¬Elijahhuman was·being ¬like to·us and to·¬prayer ¬prayed of·the·one ńot to·¬rain·down; and not ¬rained·down upon of·theearth °¬years⁺threes⁺ and °months⁺ six; 18 and ¬again ¬prayed and theheaven °¬rain gave and theearth ¬sprouted °thefruit of·her.

brothers⁺ of·me, ifᵮ whatever in to·you⁺ may·he·be¬leaded·astray off of·the¬truth and may·he·¬turn whatever °him, 20 ꜝlet·them·be·knowing that thehaving·¬turned °¬sinful out of·¬error¬road of·him, will·¬save °soul of·him out of·death and will·¬cover °¬multitude of·¬sins⁺.
